Indonesian Journal of Urban and Regional Planning (InJURP) was established in 2026 and is an annual open access journal (published three times a year or quarterly) that focuses on the study and planning of urban and regional areas in countries with transitional, developing, and advanced economies. InJURP covers topics related to science, analysis, synthesis, theory, concept, development, intervention, community, city, and region including its physical, spatial, technological, economic, social, policy, and political environment and welcomes breaking news, feature articles, and peer-reviewed contributions, including book and software reviews. InJURP is committed to creating a multidisciplinary media and forum in the field of urban and regional planning including rural, coastal, and island by seeking and accepting original paper submissions from educators, researchers, planners, architects, geographers, geologists, civil, geodesy, electricity, economists, sociologists, tourism, humanists, scientists, politicians, government, environmentalists, engineers, and other professions interested in the transformation and phenomena of urban and city areas in the past, present, and future in countries with transitional, developing, and advanced economies. All submissions must be the original work of the authors. It is important to note that the views expressed in articles, views, and features do not necessarily reflect the official position of the Indonesian Planning Schools Association (ASPI) and the Indonesian Planners Association (IAP), unless explicitly attributed to ASPI and IAP as authors. This policy encourages open discussion and diverse opinions to improve the theory and practice of urban and regional planning. We welcome contributions from members and non-members of ASPI and IAP worldwide, fostering a collaborative environment for the exchange of ideas and experiences in planning, development, urban management among other related fields. InJURP is published by Pakuan University and assisted by ASPI (Association of Indonesian Planning Schools) and IAP (Association of Indonesian Planners). Articles in this journal are currently indexed by: Sinta, Orchid, Google Scholar and Open Access.
